Llyswen Village

Llyswen is a quaint village on the banks of the River Wye which is separated from its neighbouring village, Boughrood, by a stone built bridge which dates back to around 1840. Llyswen has some of the best fishing spots in the local area and magnificent scenery.

The Griffin Inn

The Bridge End Inn

Llangoed Hall

Llyswen is home to the Archdeacon Griffiths Primary School which is one of the most successful local primary schools providing a superb education to children from the Llyswen, Boughrood and the surrounding villages.

Powys mobile library will be visiting Llyswen on the 4th Thursday of the month

The van will be stationed in the following places at approximately the times detailed below

Bridgend Layby - 14.45 til 15.00

Church Lane      - 15.05 till 15.25

Llys Meillion      - 15.30 till 15.45
